Adam, Lori, and I have been deeply committed to Team In Training since the summer of 2001. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society helped us in our time of need. Now it is our turn to help others. It has been a wonderful time. Training for a marathon and fundraising a large amount of money are two huge tasks. Doing them simultaneously makes it more that twice as hard! But the reward far outweighs the effort it took to get there. We have met more wonderful people in the last two years than in the previous 20. People that will be our friends forever! People like Brian and his family, Dan and his family, Debbie and Christina, Mike and Bonnie, Tami, Jenny, Sandy, Jeff, Julie, Anika, Larry, Jason, Janet, Cathy, Neil, and many others. We can't thank you enough for being involved with Team In Training. And many of you not once, but multiple times! Finishing my first Honlulu Marathon for Team In Training in December 2001 was one of the highlights of my life. It was the hardest but most rewarding thing I have ever done. It also has gotten me hooked on Team In Training. I invite you to join some of the greatest people on earth and help us FIND THE CURE. Go TEAM! |
